This is my first pair of trekking sticks. I have been using them jogging slow with ankle weights. They have been nice for balance and just using my arms more.
Will also use for snowshoeing when it snows.
I have been using trekking poles for many years, both aluminum and carbon. This is the best I have used for hunting. Perfect length, lite weight.
I can genuinely say that I have been impressed with Peax product purchases and these walking six are no exception..You can just feel the difference!!
Replaced my Black Diamond Alpine sticks. Was tired of the tips pulling off in soft ground/mud. Sissy Stixx tips have a thread on AND have various sizes of baskets you can install. The smallest basket was the perfect solution to my problem…. Thank You Peax, Love them!
I have used these Stix on five adventures looking for elk, most of the time off trail. They are a light, strong and quality pair of Stix. I'm sure they've prevented me from slipping off of dead fall.
