Bought these as a gift for Pops for Christmas and he likes them quite a bit - I wanted to get him a top quality trekking pole and I found these as the best on the market - the combination of carbon fiber / aluminum was very unique and provides additional strength. I had recently used the Black Diamond carbon fiber trekking poles and I think the PEAX Equipment is a superior product, specifically with the integration of aluminum at the base of the pole.

This was a Christmas present for my grandson, who plans on purchasing Peax Solitude 4 Tipi. He used friends trekking poles while deer hunting in Montana this year and found them to be very helpful while packing out heavy packs of meat after a successful hunt. I ordered a week before Christmas and they arrived before the holiday! Perfect transaction, and a great product. I think I'll order me a pair !!
