    Great quality

After making the switch to the new trekking poles, there is no looking back. Very impressed on the functionality and how well they are made. If you’re on the fence, make the jump. You won’t be disappointed.

    SISSY STIX - Backcountry ELITE

Awesome product, used the Backcountry ELITE last week in the mountains of MT and they performed flawlessly. Loved the lower grips also, one of many PEAX products that I use!

    Nothing SISSY about SISSY STIXS

I do a lot of steep and deep backpacking where I hunt. I never thought I would want to use trekking poles as they would be in the way and I would break them. Well I was wrong. I resently went on a 2 day hike to do some scouting for an upcoming elk hunt. As I was climbing these Stixs actually made the climb easier as I not only used my legs but my arms. I could go longer without stoping and was not as fatigued. Coming down they help balance my steps and made it easier to climb over blowdowns and the obstacles. I actually place a lot of weight on them to see what they could handle. I’m 6’3 and weigh 240 and never had an issue. When I would stop to glass I would use the top of the Stix as a bipod to glass with my binoculars. The handle worked great to hold them and steady my view. I don’t know why I didn’t buy these years ago. From this point on I will never hunt or hike without them.
