Top Notch Poles

These new cork handled Backcountry Elite poles are my 2nd pair. I plan to use these mostly for training hikes while I recover from a replaced knee…lots of damage over the years from my past military life. I love these poles. My other pair (regular handles) are set up with Wiser Precision Quick Stix to use on hunts as shooting sticks. Great product…light & strong.

Haven’t had a chance to use them yet, but I’m very impressed with how light they are, and how the feel in my hands.
True test will be this hunting season packing meat out.

Sissy Stix Elite prove themselves on a Montana Bear hunt

Bought these stix for a Montana Bear hunt. I am happy to say that they performed flawlessly. The cleat on the stix gripped every rock and stump perfectly. I had a fairly heavy packout (90 pounds) straight uphill. I can honestly say that the stix made it pretty manageable. I never felt like they were going to bend or break and as the days went by I grew to trust them a lot! I have nothing bad to say about them at all. I would highly recommend these trekking poles for any type of hunt.

Elite Backcountry

Awesome trekking pole! Comfortable cork grips, rigid but not heavy. Works great as a rear support when shooting a rifle off a tripod too!
