Have not field tested the Duo headlamp yet.
Out of the box it was easy to charge and to use.
I would be a good option if possible to have a way to narrow the beam n the white light it is extremely bright but covers to wide of an area for some situations
So far it is as advertised
Do not know about how long the battery will last yet.
