I recently needed this in a pinch on a glassing trip. I was worried it maybe drained because of how long it was sitting in my pack but it was still charged. Lifesaver

Im not really ineed of a new battery but ordered to have a back up. They last so long on one charge.

While it may not be a necessity, it's great to have a quick backup battery to pop in the Peax headlamp. This gives double the run time without worrying about recharging the battery in the field.

The headlamp is very well designed and easy to operate I bought the extra battery as well just for insurance it’s not uncommon for me to stay in a spike camp for a couple nights one to operate and the other to charge while out of camp
