850+ Hydrophobic Goose Down
A properly fitting sleeping bag ensures optimal temperature regulation by trapping and retaining heat efficiently. If the bag is too large, excess air space can lead to heat loss, while a too-small bag can compress the insulation, causing cold spots.

Recommend 18L Compression Sack (all sleeping bag sizes) for additional compression.

DESIGN & INNOVATION
The Solace 15° is the best all-around choice for most backcountry hunters.
It fits early-season alpine hunts, September elk, October mule deer, spring bear, and many shoulder-season trips where nighttime temperatures can drop hard but full winter insulation is not required.
If you want one bag that covers the widest range of hunting conditions without jumping to a true winter bag, this is the one.
Yes.
The Solace 15° improves sleep by maintaining consistent warmth, a stretch zone around the knees and it allows you to reach outside the bag without opening it up, dumping heat. This leads to better rest and recovery, helping hunters stay more focused and effective during multi-day backcountry hunts.
Not necessarily.
The 3-way zipper gives you several ways to vent heat, which makes the bag more adaptable across different temperatures. On warmer nights, you can vent from the bottom, unzip partially, or use it more loosely.
That makes the 15° more versatile than a narrow, fully sealed mummy bag.
The Solace 15° is designed for backpack hunting, so packability is a major part of the design. It packs down to 16"L x 8"W x 8"H with the included stuff sack but will get smaller with a compression sack. We recommend a 18 L compression sack for all sizes of the Solace 15 degree sleeping bag.
It depends on the hunter.
A quilt can be lighter and more flexible in warmer conditions, but it can also be draftier and is often dependent on pad attachment. The Solace 15° gives you the option between a more enclosed warmth, better cold-weather confidence, and more functionality through the arm ports and zipper system.
For hunters who move between warmer and colder nights, the Solace 15° hits a strong balance.
Yes. A high-quality 15 degree sleeping bag like the Solace can handle colder conditions when paired with proper shelter and layering, thanks to its efficient insulation and heat-retention design.
