Spent my first night in it last Saturday. I set the footprint up wrong the first attempt and didn't get the tp pitched right. Second attempt was perfect. Even doing it twice it only took about 20 minutes in the dark. I live in west texas so i took the time to nail down all the guy points and instal the trecking poles. Some time in the early morning hours the wind got up to 30 with gust to almost 40. The tent was extremely stable. Even with one door open the next morning eating breakfast the wind blowing across the open door. Very happy with it.

Trading in my old backpacking tent to bring this out into the back country. Having the option to have a stove opens up so many more hunting opportunities. Right off the bat I can't believe how light this is. It is significantly lighter with a lot more space than what we've been running. Going to end up with a tent and stove for not much more than we're carrying for a tent alone, not to mention a lot more room. I already know we made the right choice getting this tent. Can't wait to get it in the mountains come September.

This is the tent that others will copy. Enough room to sit on backpacking chairs if it rains or is cold outside. Ultralight,roomy and easy to set up. Could have saved lots of money on tents if this had been out 30 years ago.

Just got the Peax Equipment Solitude 4 and I’m seriously impressed.

The first thing that stood out is how incredibly small this thing packs down. For a tent with this much usable space, the packability is unreal—takes up way less room in my pack than expected, which is huge for backcountry hunts.

Setup is fast and straightforward. After one run-through, I had it dialed—super quick to pitch, even in less-than-ideal conditions. That’s a big deal when you’re rolling in late or dealing with weather.

I also picked up the footprint to go with it, and it’s extremely well thought out. Once you stake out the footprint, the tent attaches using the same stake points—no extra stakes or adjustments needed. That kind of engineering and planning really stands out in the field.

For solo backpack hunting, this tent is about as good as it gets. Plenty of room for me and my gear without feeling cramped, and the overall design is clearly built with hunters in mind.

Lightweight, compact, and efficient. Exactly what I was looking for.
