Haven’t had a chance to use it yet but set it up in my yard and cut the stove pipe hole. It has lots of room and I can’t wait to get it out and use it.

Tipi and half nest

Recently took out the tipi and half nest on a camping trip. Was able to fit 2 sleeping pads, 2 sleeping bags, and our 2 year old in it and slept comfortably. Was worried about space but the half nest is nearly the same width of our backpacking tent. The other half of the tipi has more room then our vestibule in our other tent. I purchased the stove for an Idaho elk hunt later this year. Not worried about space with gear as there was quite a bit of room in the other half of the tipi. For a quick weekend trip I thought the tipi will fit our family well for backpacking and hunting.

great shelter

almost through my first year with this tent, with zero complaints. I have spent one January weekend in snow on a ski trip paired with a stove, I was warm all night in a 15 degree bag. subsequent outings have included high alpine lake trips.
This is a well designed shelter that will last.
