I am a every day user of trekking poles now for about the last decade, whether I'm just trail hiking or hunting and packing large, heavy packs. I have never owned a three piece foldable trekking pole, so this is a first for me.
Upon arrival I was very impressed with the compact, foldable size, the weight is basically the same as my other name brand poles that fold into only two sections.
I just used these on a week long backpacking/trail clearing trip in the Selway Wilderness in Idaho. I was very concerned with the amount of flex in the poles, but that was soon put aside as these are the best trekking poles I've ever used. The flex I believe really helped transfer the shock of extreme up and down terrain. The only very small issue I had was with the cork, as it became somewhat slick with rain/sweat during a long day on the trail. This was not a game changer and a very small price to pay for the all day comfort of cork. I love the easy to tighten and torque length adjustments.

Love these things! They are super light and durable and the cable connection is super good for breaking down quickly.

I’ve owned my set for a couple of years now and I love them. The set i recently purchased, are for my niece. She loves them also.

Haven’t used yet but kinda bummed that they won’t work in the teepee but look like they will fit the need of walking sticks
